REVIEW : Royale Beauty Pinkish Glow Cream

Work-related stress not only pulls our body’s energy but also the natural glow of our face. Thus, we need to to take care of our skin to counteract the damaging effects it can do later on. 

I was a fan of pinkish whitening creams before but I stopped. Last month, Mr. Kevin John Engalla of RoyaleBeauty gave me the opportunity to once again try another whitening cream that not only whitens your skin but gives you an additional pinkish glow.

Yes, it’s been a month! This is how long it took me to finally do a review because I wanted to see the maximum results after finishing the whole jar—-and I was astonished! Read on to know more about my amazing experience with this cream…

Royale Beauty Pinkish Glow Cream with Glutathione, Lycopene & Arbutin

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

“Pinkish Glow Brightening & Smoothening Cream is a combination of the innovations in skin brightening science. DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

“Pat small amount onto clean skin over face and neck. Rub lightly until evenly absorbed. Best effect is achieved when used with Pinkish Glow Cleansing & Brightening  Facial Toner.”

I like to scoop a pea-size amount of cream and apply it generously all over as that amount can cover up the whole face already. On my first night of using this, I kind of went more than the usual amount and the result? My skin felt greasy for several minutes! Thank God this has a semi-matte finish! You should only put on a thin layer.

PACKAGING:

As a little girl, I sometimes fancy about Hello Kitty and other Sanrio items. This cream is contained in a clear plastic jar with a pink cap which you twist to open. The packaging somehow reminds me of cute-dainty-cotton-candy-pink accessories in a very posh room fit for a princess. Isn’t it cute? 

I just love the fact that it’s very lightweight too! The size is excellent for those who are always on-the-go. You can fit this inside your bag without worrying about spills as everything is sturdy. 

The only downside is that it is in a jar, that means it is exposed to your fingers(we don’t always know how clean our hands are) which might have germs when you dip into it. When that happens, bacteria will go through everything. We don’t want that, right? Use a clean cotton bud or spatula to scoop the product out if you are very OC!

CONTENT:

“The primary ingredients of Pinkish Glow are Alpha arbutin, Glutathione, Lycopene and UV Filters. 

Alpha arbutin is a natural, safe and effective skin-lightening ingredient. It inhibits the activity of tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for skin pigmentation. Alpha Arbutin promotes superb lightening effect and brings a more luminous evenly balanced tone to skin. 

Glutathione and Lycopene are powerful anti-oxidants. They help reduce oxidative damage that occurs from daily sun exposure and other environmental pollutants. They prevent premature aging and promote young skin. In addition, the natural red pigment in Lycopene imparts pinkish glow to your skin. 

Pinkish Glow Brightening Smoothening cream also contain inorganic UVA and UVB filters that act as shield against harmful effects of the sun and protect your skin from future discoloration. The combination of these natural ingredients makes Pinkish Glow a safe and effective skin-brightening product for daily use.”

What I like about this cream is the consistency. It doesn’t feel heavy when applied, yet, it is a powerful whitening cream. It is sheer when applied and works with all skin tones. It has built-in sun protection which makes it suitable for day time but versatile enough to be worn at night especially before bedtime. 

EFFICIENCY:

I became an instant fan in two days! I got a compliment from my friend Raf when I was a guest makeup artist at MAC on a particular day, the kind of day when I would usually have no makeup on because I’m about do it when I go to the counter. For the record, that was the first,in how many years, when somebody told me my skin looks better, fair & glowing! 

“AHA! I knew it. This product works!”, I thought.

I hope Raf is reading this for the reason I forgot to tell where I got it from! 

Anyway, back to the results after a month…

I like to apply it with a synthetic brush like the Sigma F84, which I got from MakeupHolics.

Without photoshop,indeed,straight from the camera[RAW]!

This cream gives you that ‘K-Pop’ dewy glow on the first few minutes but it automatically dries out to a semi-matte finish—-like magic! I wear this after spritzing my moisturizer on, and then I do my everyday makeup routine. After a week, I can tell that my skin’s texture has improved as well. My skin feels velvety smooth, the same feeling I always get when I have primer on. And within a week, I am confident to wear less makeup.

It’s my go-to product as of the moment. It’s kind of my ‘secret’ to an even-toned-pinkish-white-healthy-looking skin. I feel like my skin care routine is not complete without it. A time I forgot to put this on, and I feel like my face doesn’t radiate glow that much. I can’t compare the glow this cream gives with any other kind of makeup or skincare product as it is very unique. It’s more than either any of the two. It protects my skin from the sun as well. What more can I ask for?
