Look Of The Day : Sweet Valentine
I don’t have a date this Valentine’s day so I thought I’m just going to spend time with my makeup kit. But if you’re planning to go out with your special someone, feel free to wear this too!
This is the kind of makeup that can make you look sweet if you use minimal products and sexy if you go for more. I like more just so the colours could be seen easily in photos but I would apply less if I’m going out on a real date. As if! Haha.
You may also just skip falsies if a. you’re not comfortable or b. you don’t know how to put them on. You don’t want your date to wonder the whole night if your lashes are real or not cause the lashes from your right eye is coming off. Trust mascara and save the experiments for tomorrow.
Just keep the colours real or close to your colour if you want to look the most natural! Most men don’t like too much makeup on women. However, if you don’t like rules then rock that hot pink lipstick on your date. Make sure it’s matte, though! ;)

Look of The Day: Virginia Olsen & ELF Products + False Lashes
I have consistently told you that I don’t often wear false eyelashes but for today, I went outside wearing them for my makeup job—-which was at 6:30 in the morning and then 3:00 in the afternoon. I’m picky when it comes to false lashes but this one is something that I can really wear everyday because it’s very easy to apply and it looks really natural.
Later that night, I went to our school party and my friend Niccolei asked if I had my lashes done. Apparently, they look natural to them. Yay!
- 'Choco Eyeliner' Eyeshadow for the crease eyeshadow, nose contour & brows, Virginia Olsen Minerals
- NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Addis Ababa, The Makeup Store
- MAC Powder Blush in Fleur Power
- ELF Cover Stick in Apricot Beige, ELF Cosmetics PH
- ELF Pencil Eyeliner, ELF Cosmetics PH
- False Lashes
I love how versatile the eyeshadow is. I choose the shade “Choco Eyeliner” which I think is a buildable color. You can put it sheer to add to the crease and noseline for subtle definition or go heavy if you want it opaque. I also love how the eyeliner can easily hide the glue marks left by the eyelash glue.
And that’s it for my look of the day! I hope you like it. To end this post, I want to kno. Do you wear false eyelashes everyday? Comment down below! :)
A gift from ELF Cosmetics! <3
To be noticed by a big brand such as ELF Cosmetics is a huge honor for me. I remember the time when I used to visit the site everyday to check out their products and go to the counters to do swatches. When I was just starting to become a makeup artist, ELF is really one of the brands that I purchased from because the products are affordable but the color pay-off is very nice. You get what you pay for.
Weeks ago, I posted this picture above on Facebook and didn’t tell anyone what’s inside. Basically, it’s a gift from the wonderful team behind ELF Cosmetics Philippines and I’m very excited to uncover this for you guys!
Right after the day I got the package, I filmed a video but then I failed to edit it cause it took me such a long time to convert MTS videos to editable ones! So Im really sorry if I’ve made you excited for too long.
Can I just say that the ELF team is really sweet that they’ve included the Beauty Book in my favorite eyeshadow colors? They have also included a Total Face Brush, All Over Cover Stick which I’ve been meaning to try(product review soon cause I really love it!),Super Glossy Lip Shine, and a Liquid Eyeliner which I wore in the video below.

It was Christmas last June 24! | Glaminar Makeup Artistry’s Second Basic Makeup Workshop
Last Sunday was Christmas Day!
I can hear you murmur, “What is she talking about? Last Sunday was June 24!”
Oh yes it was Sunday, June 24—-the day I suddenly woke up to a season of sharing, getting presents and feeding the soul with warm laughs. Cheesy as it may sound but I really felt like Christmas just happened. Read on to know why…
Glaminar Makeup Artistry Basic Makeup Workshop is this Sunday!
I am as excited as I will be having another makeup workshop in partnership with Glaminar Makeup Artistry, Olay Philippines, FabShopaholic & ELF Cosmetics!
The workshop will start at 10am with a short lecture about:
- Foundation Routine
- Blush, Contour & Highlighting
- Eyes (brows, eyeshadow, eyelashes, eyeliner)
- Kit, Tools & Brushes
After the lecture, lunch will be served by Cafe France. By 1pm, the demo will start. I will be teaching you how to look naturally pretty as if you didnt put any makeup on! Next, I will demonstrate how to achieve that quick & easy everyday makeup look which you can wear to the office or to school. And lastly, I will show you how to transform that day look into a night/party look by adding only a few smokey colors.
The whole fee for the workshop is only P2600 but you may reserve a slot for only a thousand pesos and pay the rest on the day itself. The fee includes lunch and a fabulous gift pack from our sponsors. Imagine where that P2600 will go! The things you will learn will definitely last for a lifetime. No more “I really don’t get it!” lines from watching makeup tutorials on the internet! In this workshop, you will be assisted from start to finish. We won’t stop until we get it right! :)
What’s also good about this workshop is the makeup buffet! You get to try local & international beauty products! Last time, I wore the Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash Mascara which I’ve been meaning to try ever since. What else? Glaminar has NYX, Sephora, Tarte, Revlon, Loreal, Fanny Serrano, Urban Decay, Etude House, Sleek, brushes from Beauty Cosmetics and Dollface Palettes too.
And after the makeover, there will be a photoshoot as well! Bring extra clothes whether you want to look like a fashionista, a rock chick—-it doesn’t matter cause you’ll look gorgeous with your makeup anyway!
These are just enough reasons to why you should join us this Sunday and on upcoming workshops! To reserve a slot, SMS Ms. Myla Armamento of Glaminar Makeup Artistry at +639465367672! Once you have completed the reservation, you will get the instructions on how to get to the venue and more.
What Happened in Glaminar Makeup Artistry’s first ever Makeup Workshop?
This 9th of June marked the first makeup workshop held by Glaminar Makeup Artistry. I arrived ten minutes before 1 o’ clock in the afternoon—-the time we’re supposed to start. Of course, Eloisa, Celline and Jane, are such early birds so we took a few pre-workshop photos!
The other students ain’t there yet so I decided to eat lunch with Ms.Myla, the founder of Glaminar Makeup Artistry, together with the photogs. I kind of panicked—-not because I was too nervous. I thought I left my USB which contains the powerpoint for the workshop, at home! So my mom called, and I was trying to guide her where I might have left that little cd-r king thing. Apparently, it was in my mini pocket hemmed on the exterior of my bag. Facepalmed myself, indeed! Haha!
Without further ado, I started the workshop! We talked about the following :
After the discussion, merienda was served by Conti’s Pastry Shop & Restaurant! We all loved the cream puffs and lasagna!
Then, we headed on to the “real discussion”—-which is the demo part! The students finally got their hands on the brushes and applied makeup as I do mine.
Brushes from Beauty Cosmetics!
Mary Kay products from Red Jhelli Shop
Various beauty products sponsored by FabShopaholic!
'No Makeup' makeup demonstration.
Here’s fellow blogger, Eloisa Co, blending her eyeshadow.
Cutie Ana Alina surely knows how to have fun with makeup!
Jane Oliva is photoshoot-ready! Look at her gorgeous orange skirt! I love her outfit. :)
One lucky lady also won one pair of GEO contact lenses from the Red Jhelli Shop. As if the goody bags from ELF & FabShopaholic wasn’t enough! :)
Here’s another blogger friend, Celline.
